What’s it all about?
Mouv’INSA is a challenge set by INSA Lyon’s Sports Centre: to record the largest possible number of steps in teams of 5. The aim is to encourage well-being and physical activity on a daily basis to achieve a lasting change. Each team chooses its own route throughout the world. The distances travelled by all of the teams will be added up for the Mouv’INSA trip round the world.
Who’s it for?
Anyone can take part: engineering students, members of teaching or admin staff. Mouv’INSA is also open to partner companies of the INSA Lyon Foundation and the INSA Lyon departments.
How does it work?
Each day you take the largest possible number of steps, which will be recorded via the Mouv’INSA smartphone app that you can download as from February 2. All of the steps taken by your team will be automatically combined. If you don’t have a smartphone, you will be given a pedometer.
You can sign up in teams or individually until February 10. The teams will be finalized at the reception of participants by the Sports Center. The starting signal will be given on March 7! End of the challenge: May 11.
The three most motivated teams will receive a financial donation from the Foundation that they can assign to their favorite project among the INSA 5717 projects.
